French Research Federation for Magnetic Confinement Fusion – ITER

The French Research Federation for Magnetic Confinement Fusion – ITER was created on the initiative of CNRS, CEA, INRIA, and six institutions of higher education, the Universities of Aix-Marseille, Nice, Nancy and the Ecole Polytechnique. The Federation’s mission is to coordinate the research carried out in France in the field of magnetic confinement fusion, within the framework of the ITER project, and in the accompanying program supported by Europe (Euratom).
